Founded in 1967 by a group of dedicated women volunteers led by the late Begum Akhter Riazuddin Ahmed, Behbud Association of Pakistan initially aimed to provide relief services to those affected by the September 1965 war. Over the decades, it has evolved into a highly esteemed organization working across various social sectors. Under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Abida Malik for the past 30 years, Behbud has expanded its scope and impact, particularly focusing on marginalized and vulnerable populations, especially women and children.
